Project Khong Lam 2008, a youth-initiated Community Service Project, took place from December 26, 2008 to January 4,2009 The venture was led by Project leader Mr Elson Lee and his team of 12 ASEAN youths from Singapore, Laos and Thailand.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Tan Chin Tuan Foundation hosted lunch for 70 residents of the Little Sisters of the Poor and Home for the Elderly in conjunction with its late founder’s birth centennial. Present at the event held at the home was the foundation’s deputy chairman, Chew Gek Khim, who is Tan Sri Dr Tan Chin Tuan granddaughter.

Johor. Malaysia, The Tan Chin Tuan Foundation (TCTF) and the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) jointly launched a community project to rehabilitate Kampong Peta. after massive flooding in 2007 destroyed crops and livestock. The villagers are rebuilding their lives with TCTF and MRCS’ support.
