Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan

1908 - 2005

Founder of the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation in Singapore and Tan Sri Tan Foundation in Malaysia. He was Singapore's first and only Deputy President of the Legislative Council. He was also Chairman and subsequently Honorary Life President of several blue-chip companies including the OCBC Bank, and widely credited with nurturing the OCBC Bank into one of the world's soundest banks in the 1980s.
