ACS Schools, MGS and HCI

The foundation held a tea reception on Wednesday, 30th July 2014, for 29 of our scholars from ACJC, ACS (Barker Road), ACS (Independent), ACS (Junior), ACS (Pri), MGS, and HCI. Hosted by our Council Members Ms Chew Gek Hiang and Mr Chew Kwee San, the tea reception was attended by representatives from the seven institutions, LBKM as well as our guest speakers.

After the presentation of awards, our guests sat in to listen to our guest speakers Mr Mervyn Sek and Professor Leo Tan. Mr Mervyn Sek who is the head of department for Project Work and Values in Action in Anglo-Chinese Junior College shared about Project Cheer and Values in Action. Professor Leo Tan, Director (Special Projects) of the NUS Faculty of Science, thereafter shared stories and encouraged the students to dare to dream about their future. A mansion tour was conducted to share the legacy of our late founder.
