Tête-à-Tête @ TCTF 2019: NTU Mayors’ Class

On 4 December 2019, the TCTF Deputy Chairman Ms Chew Gek Khim and TCTF Council Member and Founding President of NTU Prof Cham Tao Soon hosted the Presentation of TCT Scholarship Awards cum Tea Session at the Tan Chin Tuan Mansion. Guests included 7 scholars from the Master of Science in Managerial Economics (MME) & Master of Public Administration (MPA) Programmes, Prof Liu Hong, Director of Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) and Assoc Prof Wang Jue, Deputy Director of NCPA and staff from NTU. The scholars gave short introductions of themselves and shared about their learning experience. This was an opportunity for scholars to meet and interact with TCTF Council Members before the programme concludes. To thank the foundation for the support, a token of appreciation was presented to Ms Chew.

Guests were given a tour of the mansion by Ms Chew and TCTF CEO Ms Yap Su-Yin to learn more about the legacy of our founder, Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan. Guests were also gifted a copy of Rock Solid which recounts the corporate career of Tan Sri Tan.
