30 Oct 2013

Our foundation held our third and last tea reception for 2013 on Wednesday, 30 Oct 2013, for our 21 award recipients from NP, NTU, RP and LBKM. Luzern Tan, our 2013 Oldham Scholar from ACJC, also joined us for the tea. Hosted by our Council member, Mr Chew Kwee San and Advisor, Mr Eric Teng, the tea was also attended by 16 representatives from the four institutions and two TCT exchange fellows (Outbound).

After receiving their mementos, the students were invited to listen to our guest speaker, Mr Colin Goh, CEO of The Old Parliament House Limited, who shared his journey in making a career switch from the corporate world to the non-profit sector. The guests then enjoyed some light refreshments while they went on a mansion tour led by Ms Chu. Meanwhile, the school representatives who were familiar with the mansion mingled with our council members and other guests at the dining area.

This ‘Tête-à-Tête @ TCTF’ series serves as a platform for our guests to network with one another, to meet the donor of the scholarships/awards and learn about the philanthropic legacy of our founder.
