For our second Tête-à-Tête @ TCTF series this year, we had 18 award recipients from Anglo-Chinese Junior college, Hwa Chong Institution, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and Social Service Institute (SSI).
Hosted by our Council Member, Ms Chew Gek Hiang, the tea was also attended by representatives of eight institutions and charities (including TCT-SSI award recipients’ current employers).
An icebreaker game was conducted by Ms Nalini, our TCT-SSI award recipient from Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities at the start of the programme.. After which, we invited some of our TCT-SSI award recipients to share about their work at the various Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWO) they are currently at and their journey in the field of social service.
Mementos were presented to the award recipients after the sharing session. Our guests then enjoyed some light refreshments followed by a mansion tour where the legacy of our late founder was shared to all by Ms Chew, TCTF CEO, Ms Yap Su-Yin and TCTF Programme Executives, Miss Sharon Song and Miss Shabila.
