Volunteers from Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore arrived at the Sree Narayana Mission Home for the Aged Sick early Saturday morning to set up for their performance at the auditorium. Their audience, the elderly at the Home arrived early eager to be entertained and entertain they were.
There was a band performance led by Tan Jiat Chow and singers who sung various songs in English and Cantonese. There was also a folk dance. The elderly were so entertained and happy, they wanted more and even joined in and danced along with the volunteers.
The residents enjoyed their musical filled morning. The volunteers assisted in accompanying the residents back to their rooms for lunch.
