Scholars’ Tea

18 Aug 2010

The 18th of August was a proud day for our scholars and their parents as they gathered at the Tan Chin Tuan Mansion for a tea reception in celebration of the scholarships they were recently awarded.

The programme started with a dialogue session facilitated by TCTF Advisor, Mr Eric Teng and Programme Director, Miss Yap Su-Yin, on “Youth and Volunteerism”. Scholars also shared their personal experiences on the topic.

A small award ceremony was held where the Tan Sri Dr Tan Chin Tuan Scholarship, Tan Chin Tuan – SSTI Award and the inaugural Tan Chin Tuan Award for Social Work were given out.

It was an afternoon well spent and one that will be fondly remembered by our scholars.
