On Thursday, 4 September, Tan Chin Tuan Foundation (TCTF) invited its Puan Sri Helene Tan Chin Tuan (MGS) scholars 2007 and 2008, their families, MGS principal and staff to the Tan Chin Tuan Mansion for Hi-tea. For the first time, past and present scholars and their families had the opportunity to meet their benefactors face-to-face, and learn more about the Foundation’s philosophy of giving.
In the spirit of the ongoing Singapore International Storytelling Festival 2008, which Tan Chin Tuan Foundation supports, our guests were treated to stories by storytellers from the Storyteller’s Association of Singapore, Sheila Wee, Rosemarie Somaiah and Dolly Leow, who is a former MGS student.
