Project WISH 2018: CARElderly (Circuit Road and Merpati Centre)

TCTF journeyed with CARElderly, which served seniors living in rental flats in Circuit Road and Merpati, throughout 2018. The multiple touchpoints included visits to the charity, to the seniors’ homes and culminated with a closing lunch to celebrate the Christmas festive season with their caregivers.

In March and October, TCTF embarked on a “Lifestyle Photos” project with 33 seniors from Circuit Road Centre and Merpati Centre. This was so that seniors could have portrait photos of themselves taken professionally by TCTF scholar from NAFA, Tan De Hao.

On 29 November, TCTF invited these seniors as well as friends and caregivers to a year-end gathering held in YMCA Singapore. The photos were printed, framed and gifted to the elderly. Together with interactive games, food and gift vouchers, volunteers from TCTF, SIT and YMCA spread the joy of giving during the Christmas festive season.
