‘The Arabian Nights’ Musical

Our second partnership this year with Encore! The European Season in Singapore took place during the school holidays on Thursday, 6 September 2012. A spectacular performance by I Theatre was held at the Singapore Airlines Theatre, LASALLE College of the Arts. The cast put up an enticing and humorous rendition of “The Arabian Nights” (The Thousand and One Nights) that resulted in chains of laughter throughout the musical.
Among the audience present were 128 children from three Tan Chin Tuan Foundation-supported beneficiaries: Care Community Services Society, Life Community Services Society and PPIS. The hour and a half musical not only entertained the children with twists and turns in the storyline and witty proses. They also had the opportunity to have a group photo taken with the cast! It was definitely an entertaining and culturally eye-opening afternoon for everyone.
