TCTF supported ActionAid International in the Changemakers Programme to develop youth leadership in Myanmar. The programme view communities as inherently resourceful and capable in identifying their own needs, formulating ideas, initiating solutions and leading change. Youth leaders worked with local communities to identify and prioritise needs. The findings were compiled into a “Village Map” with inputs from the local community. TCTF’s donation empowered the youths to work together to help local communities formulate more sustainable developmental plans.
