Project WISH 2016

1 Dec 2016

Initiated in 2008, Project WISH aims to bring joy to the elderly through the gift of companionship and items that they have wished for. As TCTF celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2016, we partnered our supported charity, Care Community Services Society (CCSS) to befriend and understand the needs and wishes of elderly living in rental flats along Merpati and Circuit Road.

Over 80 wishes for household items and necessities were granted and presented to the elderly. Professional photographer, Kelvin Lim captured buoyant framed portraits that was gifted to the elderly as a lasting keepsake.

On 1 December 2016, TCTF gathered all involved in a get-together where elderly, staff and volunteers reunited with a series of performances and games.

Over the course of Project WISH, the elderly, staff and volunteers formed unforgettable friendships as they bonded through conversation, laughter and heartfelt stories. #tctfprojectwish
