TCTF CEO Ms Yap introduced SCO Resident Conductor Quek Ling Kiong to the More Than Words 2019 "ONE" book which included an original composition by former TCTF Scholar from NAFA, Xuan.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic students contributed stories and poems inspired from sketches by St Luke's ElderCare's seniors for the More Than Words 2019 "ONE" book.

Scholars and volunteers from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, NAFA stayed after the concert to interact.

SCO Young People’s Concert 2019

In partnership with Singapore Chinese Orchestra, TCTF hosted over 120 guests at the SCO Young People’s Concert on Saturday, 9 November. Guests included beneficiaries from three charities namely Caregivers Alliance Limited (CAL), ISCOS, Life Community Services Society as well as TCTF scholars from NAFA, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic and Yale-NUS College, volunteers and friends. This concert, titled Once Upon a Chinese Orchestra was helmed by Conductor Mr Moses Gay and introduced the origins of Chinese Orchestra as well as the various instruments used in an ensemble and full-scale orchestra.
