Tête-à-Tête @ TCTF 2018: NTU Mayors’ Class

On 17 January 2018, the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation hosted the Presentation of TCT Scholarship Awards cum Tea Session for 21 students from the 2^nd cohort of NTU-TCTF Leadership Development Workshop & the Master of Science in Managerial Economics (MME) & Master of Public Adminstration (MPA) Programmes (AY2016-2017) at the Tan Chin Tuan Mansion. Mr Jiang Zhongdong and Mr Yuan Lin, both of whom are Tan Chin Tuan scholars, presented their dissertation insights to the Foundation’s council members and guests present.

The TCTF team also took the opportunity to introduce Peranakan culture to our Chinese guests by donning traditional Sarong Kebaya outfits and treating guests to a delightful spread of nonya treats such as Kueh Salat and Kueh Ko Swee. Guests were also gifted a copy of Rock Solid which recounts the corporate career of our founder, Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan.
