Tan Chin Tuan Photo Contest ‘iCherish’

On 24th August 2012, the Tan Chin Tuan Photo Contest 2012 Award Ceremony and Exhibiton was held at the YMCA. The programme was hosted by Council Member, Ms Chew Gek Hiang and Deputy CEO, Ms Yap Su-Yin. 60 guests from 12 organisations were present.
Themed “iCherish”, the contest celebrated family ties and bonds of friendship across the different generations. More than 4,500 entries were submitted by participants who captured significant moments to be cherished using disposable cameras sponsored by the foundation.

The 19 winning photos are being showcased at the YMCA, Y-Cafe (level 4) till the end of September 2012. In appreciation of the assistance rendered by charitable organisations within our community, charities supporting these winners have been gifted a portion of the prize money.
