Read MoreIn memory of its founder who would have been a hundred years old in 2008, TCTF fulfilled the wishes of 19 centenarians residing in seven TCTF-supported charities. “Project WISH 100” celebrated the momentous milestone with beneficiaries who crossed the 100-year mark by granting their birthday wishes through joyous festivities throughout the year. The special moments with Singapore’s oldest residents were featured by Channel NewsAsia.

As part of TCTF’s plan to “enable the enablers”, it directed funds to beef up support for charities helping caregivers and people struggling with mental issues.
Read MoreThe first Tan Chin Tuan Centennial Concert series was performed by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra at Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) for over 500 senior citizens, caregivers, staff and volunteers from charities supported by the foundation. Held annually, it emphasized the foundation’s style of bringing together different groups from various clusters to partner for a good cause.
