Community Chest – For supporting single-parent causes

YMCA-TCT Community Services Programmes

A $990,000 donation from TCTF enabled the YMCA of Singapore to initiate the “YMCA-TCT Community Services Programmes” to service underprivileged groups in Singapore.

SMART Partnership

Soka Gakkai (Johor Bahru) received seed funding to launch the award-winning “SMART Partnership”. Close to 1,700 students from needy families affected by the floods secured food and schooling materials, enabling them to return to school. Over seven years, SMART Partnership helped more than 30,000 needy students.

Saving Kampung Peta

The foundation sponsored Malaysian Red Crescent Society “Saving Kampung Peta” project to help an Orang Asli (aboriginal) community affected by the flood in Johor.
