A $20 million Tan Chin Tuan Centennial Fund was endowed to Nanyang Technological University on 19 August. The endowment fund supported bi-annual forum cum reunion in China for NTU’s “Mayors’ Class” alumni, a professorship in Engineering, and annual Exchange Fellowships in Engineering. The foundation’s largesse bolstered NTU’s strategy with regard to China, and strengthened expertise in NTU by attracting top researchers within the field of engineering to the varsity.
